The basics:

  • Hours: Part-time (24 hours per week). Pacific Time Zone business hours. 
    • Monday - Thursday: 5 hours/day
    • Friday: 4 hours/day
    • NOTE: You must work set hours each day, but the start and end times are negotiable as long as work is completed between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm PST.
  • Hourly rate: $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. 
      • After one year of work at Almond Clear, you will qualify for our twice-yearly profit share bonuses.

  • Location: 100% remote- work from anywhere in the world!

What you’ll be responsible for as the Customer Support Representative:

  • You must maintain a friendly, professional, educational tone with all customer interactions, regardless of if that person is easy to understand and communicate with or very difficult to work with.
  • Patiently and thoroughly answer peoples’ skincare questions via DM and email.
  • Assist customers with shipping problems, returns, refunds, discount codes & subscriptions. Keep detailed, accurate records.
  • Accurately document lost packages in Google Sheets and report them to the operations team for investigation.
  • Manage Almond Clear’s Facebook Group and interact with posts and comments.
  • Assist wholesale customers with placing orders and tracking wholesale orders via Google Sheets.

What you’ll be responsible for as the Social Media Specialist:

  • Provide fresh ideas and perspectives on Almond Clear’s social media content.
  • Film & edit high-quality Instagram stories and TikTok Reels. 
  • Maintain familiarity with TikTok trends, and strategically use these trends to educate people about Almond Clear.
  • Design creative, eye-catching graphics for social media posts using Canva and original photography.
  • Engage with our online community via comments, likes, and DMs
  • Track social media analytics and use data to fine-tune our content.
  • Collaboratively plan Almond Clear’s monthly content calendar and come up with new ways to tell our brand story.
  • Depending on your writing skills, you may assist with writing bi-weekly email marketing campaigns.

We require that you’re experienced with at least three of these apps:

  • Slack- for internal communication 
  • Google Sheets- you’ll keep a lot of Sheets up to date in the customer support role.
  • Canva- for graphic design
  • Asana- for project management 
  • We are always bringing in new apps and software. You must be willing to learn how to use new technology.

You’ll thrive in this role if this sounds like you:

  • You can stay focused and efficient while working from home. This position is fully remote, which means you must be skilled at focusing on work in your home environment. Because this is a part-time job (four or five hours per day), there is just one 10-minute break each day. This is not the right position for someone who needs to step away from their desk regularly.
  • Your past customer support experience enables you to represent brands in a personal, professional, and friendly way. You love helping and providing detailed and thorough responses in a genuine and personal way. You have already worked in customer support, retail, the service industry, or hospitality, and you can bring those people skills to this position.
  • You have experience in high-quality social media content creation. This could be for your personal account or another brand. You love creating engaging and authentic content that is on-trend. You are a whiz at creating and editing Reels and TikToks.
  • You can empathize with potential customers because you’ve been on your own skincare journey. You have struggled with your skin, so you know what it’s like to be worried about if a new product will work and scared to try something out. Your skincare journey allows you to provide personal, caring customer support. 
  • You love taking the lead on your own projects. You love having full ownership over the creation, execution, and delivery of your own projects. You’re constantly seeking to improve these projects and asking yourself questions like: What’s working? What’s not working? How can I improve this? Did I see the results that I was hoping for? What are other people in the industry doing? 
  • You are a confident decision-maker and independent problem solver. Once you learn Almond Clear’s systems and processes, you can independently use those to make decisions and solve problems. You love taking initiative over your projects and tasks, which means that you don’t need to be micromanaged.
  • You have strong attention to detail. People tend to compliment you on your attention to detail. You review your work multiple times to ensure it’s final draft ready. 
  • You have a knack for seeing the bigger picture and thinking strategically. You love thinking about how new ideas fit into the bigger picture of a project, marketing plan, and overall business goals. You think strategically about how to achieve your goals.
