I have combination to oily skin and had a tough time finding something that was light yet also kept my skin moisturized without drying it out. I stumbled upon Almond Clear while searching to refill another gel based moisturizer I’d tried as a recommendation from an aesthetician. Decided to give Almond Clear a try since it had other benefits listed when compared with the other one, and have never regretted it! It’s so light on my skin and yet keeps it moisturized all day! Not only that, but my skin must love something in it because I haven’t had the stubborn tiny cluster of bumps that had been on my forehead for so long I’d gotten used to them. Highly recommend!

I will start off by saying that if you are someone with dry, dehydrated skin, this moisturizer likely isn’t for you. However, as someone with very oily, acne prone skin, this moisturizer has been a great fit for me. I use it as a daytime moisturizer but do use something a little more occlusive at night. I love the light texture and how quickly it sinks into my skin, without leaving a tacky or sticky feeling. I still tend to get a little oily later in the day, however, this product does not immediately turn me into a grease pit like many other moisturizers do. I layer SPF over this, and I can definitely say that it plays well with other products and does not cause any pilling. Would highly recommend if you were looking for a light moisturizer that works well with oily skin and under sunscreen.

When I first received the 2-in-1 gel I thought it wasn’t moisturizing enough. Mind you we were having 20 degree weather! Most anti-aging serums usually make my face break out eventually but this one hasn’t. Then, one morning I used the 2-in-1 gel as a serum right after washing my face, let it sink in, then put the Almond Clear Soothing Moisturizer over it. It has been a total game changer. My skin just glows after I do this. Doesn’t develop an oil slick later. Doesn’t pill when I add a little foundation. I use the level 1 serum at night after washing with the Almond Clear Face and Body wash, then put the Soothing Moisturizer over.
