I bought this moisturizer in combination with the face and body wash to fight what I'm told is type 2 rosacea. I wrote a review for that separately, but wanted to call out that I was using both of them 2x a day. The face wash 100% didn't work for me, but I think the lotion was the more successful of the two if I had to pick. Still wasn't exactly right for me, but I think it's a good product nonetheless. It does seem to be gentle and does calm down redness and irritation (unfortunately for me, the wash was irritating my skin, so it was creating more work for this lotion to handle). A little goes a very long way, so it's a good value bottle. My only real complaint is with texture - it really took me a while to get used to using it, and I didn't love that aspect no matter how much I tried over the five weeks I used this system. It's not that the texture is bad, but it's quite thick and very unique (maybe due to the squalane?) and might be an adjustment for you, especially if you're used to a thinner serum-like feel. It almost kind of reminds me of coconut-based yogurt. The texture did also cause me to notice that the mornings I washed my face, applied the lotion, and then applied makeup (powder foundation), the application wasn't as smooth and then I had a hard time removing the makeup that evening. I don't wear makeup much so this wasn't huge of a deal, but still noteworthy for some. I found that this was fine on my cheeks where I'm drier, but was too much for my forehead or…

So I'm in full blown menopause (TMI?) and have worked in skincare for years. I've always had decent skin but in the past couple of years I started to have these weird bumps/rashes on my cheeks, nose, and chin. I couldn't figure out what it was?
